As we reach the midpoint of Term 4, it’s a meaningful time to reflect on the growth, perseverance, and achievements of our students, staff, and families throughout the year. With final assessments, graduation, and transitions ahead, this period can bring both excitement and pressure.

Our Wellbeing Services Team continues to support students in navigating these challenges with resilience and confidence. We’ve seen strong engagement in our wellbeing programs, and we’re proud of the way students are embracing strategies for self-care, emotional regulation, and help-seeking.

As we move toward the end of the school year, we encourage families to maintain routines that support wellbeing - balancing academic responsibilities with rest, connection, and celebration. Please remember, our Wellbeing Services Team is here to help with any additional support your young person may need.

Supporting Your Young Person Through Transitions
The end of the year often brings transitions - whether it's moving into a new year of secondary school, preparing for post-school pathways, or simply adjusting to change. Here are some ways families can support their young person:

  • Talk openly about upcoming changes and listen to their concerns
  • Celebrate achievements and milestones, big or small
  • Encourage healthy sleep and screen habits
  • Maintain routines to provide stability
  • Help them set realistic goals for the future
  • Remind them that it’s okay to feel uncertain. Support is available.
