Kolbe Catholic College is delighted to announce its partnership with Liverpool Football Club International Academy Australia (LFCIA). This exciting collaboration will see Kolbe become home to the LFCIA in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne offering the exclusive soccer program to its students and wider community.
Driven by a mutual dedication to excellence and inclusivity, the partnership promises to unlock incredible opportunities for the development of current and future students at Kolbe.
Speaking at the official launch today, Kolbe Deputy Principal: Campus Director Kelley Revelman said: “The alignment between the values of Kolbe Catholic College and Liverpool Football Club sets the stage for an extraordinary journey ahead. Through this partnership, our students will have the opportunity to not only hone their sporting skills but also cultivate essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.”
Kolbe is committed to building strong community connections and opportunities for the development of young people both at school and beyond. Through this partnership, our students will gain incredible opportunities to learn through a work-class program, to train with excellence and to grow - not just as players, but as people. In addition, Kolbe students and aspiring young players in the wider community will be able to participate in afterschool and holiday programs to explore their potential and pursue their passions.
The partnership was officially launched by the General Manager of Liverpool Football Club International Academy Australia, Rob Davey and was also attended by colleagues and our staff and students from feeder Primary schools. This was followed by an impressive technical skills drills session run by Coach Development and Operations Lead Tom Dempsey.
From honing soccer skills to developing teamwork and leadership, we’re ready to embark on this extraordinary journey and you can join us too!
