What is your role at Kolbe?
Property Manager.

What does a typical day at Kolbe look like for you?
No one day is the same as the next, but my team and I strive each day to serve the Kolbe community, keep Kolbe clean and make Kolbe safe for all.

What do you love most about working at Kolbe Catholic College?
It's never boring!

What is your favourite book you have read?
The Secret Race by Tyler Hamilton

What is your favourite food?
Pizza.

What is your favourite travel destination?
I'm planning to go the Gold Coast in 2026 for a milestone birthday.
Hopefully that will become my favourite.

What was your first job?
Pamphlet drops for Chesterton & Co Real Estate.

What is one of your hidden talents?
I think I can knock up a good, rhymed verse poem.

What song do you know all the lyrics to?
Piano Man by Billy Joel.

If you had a boat, what would you name it?
Jakbop (the first letter of mine, my wife and my kids names all joined together).

Who inspires you?
My wife - Amanda.

How do you think people would describe you?
Hopefully they say I am easy going and always willing to help.

How do you elevate your students?
By encouraging them to do their best and building their confidence.

If you could teach any subject that doesn't exist, what would it be?
I'm not sure if this exists or not but Historical Photography. I'm fascinated at old black & white images of years past. The stories behind them would be amazing to delve into.

What do you like to do during your free time?
I read. I run. I watch sport.
