11 NOV 2025 A Legacy of Kindness and Dedication

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved teacher and colleague, Mrs Shelley Beecham. Shelley touched the lives of countless students and staff with her kindness and dedication and was a much-loved member of our college community.

Shelley dedicated 29 years of service to Catholic Education across St Monica's College, Epping; St Bernard's College, Essendon; and Kolbe Catholic College.

Shelley was a gifted educator and a very dear friend to us all. Her boundless commitment to helping others achieve their best was the hallmark of her extraordinary career in education. As the Early Career Teachers Coordinator at Kolbe, she was a gifted and inspiring mentor and coach to many. As a teacher and colleague, her interest in others was endearing, and her smile and laughter were infectious.

As we remember her bright spirit and the joy she brought to our college community, we celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. 

You will be deeply missed, Shelley. Rest in peace.
