Important Dates for VTAC and Year 12 Students

Subject Selections
Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 in 2026 will begin to receive their 2026 subject confirmations in the next few days. It is imperative students double check their options, and if changes are needed, do so prior to the end of 2025. Ideally, these changes should be made prior to Prestart finishing. Please note, Changes can only be accommodated if it suits the student's future pathway and if there is space within the timetable and individual subject.
To request a subject change, students should follow the procedure sent via SEQTA DM or speak with their Curriculum Leader.
Work Experience in 2026
All Year 10 students are encouraged to undertake work experience. As it is not compulsory, there is not allocated week for work experience to occur. Instead, students are to request a week that does not impact their exams or assessments.
Once work experience is support via an employer, it is the students responsibility to gain permission from Ms Williams and ensure all the required paperwork is completed and submitted for approval. Work Experience forms can be collected from the Careers Office in J7.
