Year 12 Update
As our year 12s head into their exams, a few weeks ago they first finalised their options for life beyond Kolbe. Students were interviewed individually at least twice in 2021, at the beginning of the year to draft out their plans and then again during the VTAC application process. This year we had over 135 students complete VTAC applications and a further 15 apply directly to institutes for pre-apprenticeships. Once again there are a range of areas that students wish to develop their careers in – Education, Health, Science and Business all being popular course options. & I am sure we will see some highly skilled builders, plumbers and electricians in the not too distant future.
Missed open days? No worries!
Most universities have either recorded the webinars from their open day events and have made them available ‘on demand’ or have uploaded information videos to their open day websites.
You can watch recorded webinars on courses, pathways, scholarships, accommodation, early entry programs, student services, and clubs and societies. You may need to register your details to access the videos on demand. Open days are a great way to gain an insight into courses and institutes and what they offer.
