In this edition of The Spotlight Series we get to know Mrs Claudia Russo, our Learning Leader: Languages and Culture. Claudia Russo is a highly experienced teacher who started at Kolbe this year having taught in five other Catholic Colleges, most recently Catholic Regional College, Melton.

Learning Leader: Languages and Culture
What does a typical day at Kolbe look like for you?
Being amongst the terrific students and staff at Kolbe; teaching and planning lessons as well as excursions. This year we are planning Italian Day.
What do you love most about working at Kolbe Catholic College?
Teaching junior students Italian and having lunch with my colleagues. Also, I love to organise incursions and Languages Week.
Becoming, by Michelle Obama
The Amalfi Coast in the South of Italy.
Working at Myer, in the Children's Department in the city, as a university student.
I am learning French and to play the piano. A very slow process I might add.

My daughter, my husband and my mum. Obviously, I would like people to surround me and not things as such: but water, food and a good book would be helpful.
