Name:
Tess Daly
What is your role at Kolbe?
Health and Physical Education / Psychology Teacher and Year 7 PC Teacher
What does a typical day at Kolbe look like for you?
Usually, you'll catch me running from one place to another. I don't have a very long stride as I'm quite short, therefore lots of steps to get around the campus in time! A typical day at Kolbe always involves a practical Physical Education (PE) class for me and throughout my time I've learnt it's important to carry a pen and paper or a device with you in case someone tells you something on the go.
What do you love most about working at Kolbe Catholic College?
The people - both staff and students. The staff are very helpful, welcoming, and supportive and the students are rewarding, fun and caring.
If I'm honest, I’m not really a book reader. I much prefer the movie option.
Tough one - I'm certainly a chocolate over lollies type person, randomly love pumpkin, but my favourite meal is probably a home cooked roast.
I certainly haven't done enough of this yet; however, I did really like Singapore and the Philippines.
I had two jobs as a teenager, a Supermarket- IGA, working in the Deli and a Receptionist at a Gym.
Reformer Pilates
Answering this question could get me in trouble - I follow the AFL and have followed Essendon all my life but I like to win, which they don't do a lot of, so recently I have found myself supporting Melbourne.
When I was growing up, I would've answered with my secondary Health and PE teacher - which certainly gives reason to my current career path. Now that I'm older and have reached that goal, I look more to my mum and sister for both inspiration and guidance.
Loving, caring, loyal, probably lame (I think I'm funny but I'm not really). When I was younger, I used to get called a 'Pocket rocket', small but mighty people would say.
I'm not really the joke teller, normally I'm just laughing along at the jokes so I'm not sure I have a favourite but it doesn't take much to make me laugh.
1. I wouldn't want to be alone, so my husband.
2. It would probably be silly not to say food.
3. I should think of something for survival - a first aid kit.
