An update from the Principal

Dear Parents/Caregivers

The Premier has announced that the snap lockdown concludes at 11.59pm tonight (Wednesday 17th February). We will therefore return to onsite learning and all students are required to return to the College tomorrow morning. All of the COVID safe expectations prior to the lockdown will apply, with some additional requirements until Friday 26th February. Along with masks needing to be worn inside, the Premier has announced masks will need to be worn outside if unable to maintain a 1.5m COVID safe distance. We will advise the students further regarding the implications of this for them at PC tomorrow morning.

We have decided to increase some restrictions on visitors to the College until Friday 26th February. If you have planned to visit us onsite please consider the option for a virtual meeting. Visitors may continue to access the College via Gate 2 but we will be reactivating our monitoring of this with the generous support of the maintenance crew.

Thank you for your agility in response to the snap lockdown. Thank you especially to the staff for their rapid response to activate remote learning.

The health and safety of everyone continues to be a key priority. As a reminder, if your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home, get them tested and isolate.

I’m looking forward to having everyone back onsite tomorrow.

Regards

Nick Scully
