The Year 8 Italian students were delighted to have Wild Action visit our College on Wednesday 10 September. The zoologists: Kimberley and Carly from Mount Macedon, showcased their little friends to us. We were all excited to pat the animals and learn so much about their habitat, diet, physical characteristics and personality traits.
The animals who visited us were mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Most of these animals are nocturnal; they are asleep during the day and awake at night. This visit from Wild Action - Zoo animals who visit schools, complemented our animal unit in Year 8 Italian for Term 3.
We had the pleasure of holding a frog, Barn Owl, turtle, lizards, a non-venomous snake and even a freshwater crocodile. Our absolute favourite though was the joey kangaroo.
