During Week 9 this term, the College celebrated Mental Health Week, including R U OK? Day, with a range of lunchtime activities across both campuses promoting connection, kindness and wellbeing.
Students had the opportunity to foster a sense of belonging through staff vs students volleyball and basketball games, connect with others through conversations over hot chocolates, and advocate for mental health awareness through our Walk for Mental Health and photobooth. Our R U OK? Day concert brought the College community together in celebration, while craft activities provided students with an opportunity to engage in a calming and creative art practice.
It was wonderful to see students and staff come together throughout the week to strengthen connections, show kindness, and check in with one another. The enthusiasm and participation across both campuses highlighted the importance of creating a school community where everyone feels supported, valued, and connected.
A special thank you to everyone who helped make the week such a positive celebration of mental health and wellbeing.
