There's something about the last day of term that calls for a grand finale, and this year's Athletics Carnival delivered in every way. The grounds at Sprint in Craigieburn exploded into a kaleidoscope of House colours and infectious energy as students and staff gathered for a day of competition.
Whether it was the blur of runners in the relays, the determined faces at the high jump bar, or the laughter echoing from the egg-and-spoon races, every event pulsed with spirit. Friendly rivalries played out across the field, but it was the camaraderie, cheering on teammates and congratulating competitors, that stood out most.
Festivities spilled beyond the track. Food trucks dished up favourites, energising music drifted through the air and the sun was out providing flawless weather.
At the end of the day, in a sea of applause and House banners waving, Chisholm House stole the show! Not only clinching the coveted Spirit Award, but also triumphing as overall champions.
