Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) have made several key updates to its policies and procedures, which require to be shared and made known to the school community.

This document describes how all Kolbe and MACS staff identify and respond to child abuse concerns. A requirement has been added to the document to identify the source of abuse and respond accordingly, guided by the 4 Critical Actions: identify, report, support and refer.

Privacy Collection Notice – Media Management and Facial Recognition Technology platforms
This is a new document that sets out what information MACS and/or Kolbe collects, uses and stores when using media management and facial recognition technology (FRT) platforms, as part of applying relevant consent permissions from Parents to MACS photos or recordings in publications.
Complaints Handling Policy
This document has been updated to include further information regarding reportable conduct and complaints processes. This document now includes the requirement to record complaints to identify trends and areas where improvement may be possible.
