Recently, the Victorian Bar Foundation and Hume City Council Achievement and Encouragement Awards shone a spotlight on our region's brightest VCE Legal Studies students. These awards not only celebrate academic excellence but also aim to inspire students from all backgrounds to consider a future in the legal profession.
We're delighted to announce that two Kolbe students have been recognised this year. Sehajdeep J received the Encouragement Award, while Agam K was honoured with the Achievement Award. Both students have already received their certificates and will attend a special work experience day in September at the courts, offering them a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the legal system.
Agam’s achievements don’t stop there. Alongside her award, she has received $1,500 in recognition of her outstanding efforts and will soon participate in a work experience program with the courts. But it’s not just in Legal Studies where Agam shines, her artwork, titled ‘Peace’, was selected for display in this year’s MACS Creative Arts Exhibition during Catholic Education Week.
Congratulations to Agam on her wonderful achievements, and to both students for representing Kolbe with such excellence and enthusiasm.
