25 MAY 2026 MACS Policy Updates

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) have made several key updates to its policies and procedures, which require to be shared and made known to the school community.

Anaphylaxis

Anaphylaxis Management Policy for MACS Schools

This document outlines the supports that MACS schools are to provide, as far as practicable, safe and supportive environments in which students at risk of anaphylaxis receive reasonable adjustments that enable them to participate fully in school programs and activities.

The document includes references to the two newly available adrenaline devices, Neffy and Jext.

This document includes strategies that provides support to the College to ensure that it provides a safe and supportive environments in which students at risk of anaphylaxis receive reasonable adjustments that enable them to fully participate in school programs and activities.

Photography and Recording Permission Form

The document includes updated content that has been simplified, documented scenarios where photographs/recordings may be used by MACS should parental consent had been provided and a new consent form to be completed when wanting to withdraw the original permissions.
