Kolbe Catholic College is committed to demonstrating the strong commitment to the care, safety and wellbeing of all students at our College. Strategies are implemented to ensure that a child safe culture is championed and modelled at all levels of the College, to keep students safe from harm.
A key strategy to upholding the care, safety and wellbeing of our students, is by complying with Victoria’s Child Safe Standards. The Child Safe Standards are a set of 11 requirements that organisations must follow to create a culture and environment that is safe for children.
In 2026, with the assistance of the College’s governing body Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS), Kolbe Catholic College will be launching the “11 Months 11 Standards” campaign. The campaign is designed to raise awareness, encourage accountability, and inspire action across the entire school community to ensure the safety of children and young people.
Each newsletter will have a spotlight feature of each Standard, including how parents, carers and families can get involved.
We hope you enjoy this campaign and can join us on our journey through the 11 Standards.
