Our Year 9 and 10 Italian students recently embarked on an exciting Italian excursion to COASIT - Museo Italiano, Italian Museum in Carlton.

Students learnt here the valuable experience of Migration to Australia in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Through fascinating exhibits, historical artefacts and personal stories, they gained a deeper understanding of the challenges, resilience and contributions of Italian migrants who helped shape Australia's multicultural society.
Following this enriching experience, students enjoyed a tour of Brunetti's, the famous Italian cafe on Lygon Street, well known for its delectable sweets and enchanting coffee. The aroma, the atmosphere and delicious treats made this a highlight for many!

Students later enjoyed a stroll along Lygon Street where they enjoyed lunch whilst admiring the beautiful multicultural stores of Carlton.
