Over the past six weeks, a selected group of Year 8 boys participated in the Boys to Noble Men program, an initiative designed to support students in developing self-awareness, accountability, and positive relationships. Throughout the program, students engaged in meaningful reflection on their behaviour, choices, and the impact they have on others. A strong focus was placed on personal growth, responsibility, and the importance of repairing relationships when challenges arise.

The program concluded with a student-led luncheon, where participants invited selected staff members to attend. The boys took great pride in planning and hosting the event and creating a welcoming environment. A highlight of the luncheon was the opportunity for students to speak directly to staff. Each student shared a personal reflection, offering sincere apologies where needed and acknowledging the importance of making better choices moving forward. They also made clear commitments to improve their behaviour and strengthen respectful relationships within the school community.

The staff who attended expressed genuine appreciation for the invitations and the thoughtful effort shown by the students. The opportunity to reconnect in a positive and respectful context was valued, and it was evident that the students’ actions had a meaningful impact.

We are incredibly proud of the students for their courage, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility. The growth demonstrated throughout the program reflects the core aim of Boys to Noble Men, supporting young people to become respectful, accountable, and thoughtful members of our community.
