Mental Health Week was a vibrant and uplifting celebration at both St Clare of Assisi and St Catherine of Bologna Campuses. This year, each campus created its own special memories while coming together for the shared purpose of supporting wellbeing and community.

At our St Clare campus, the energy was infectious from the very first day. Students and staff dove into creative activities, making colourful Glitter Bottles and joining in novelty games that filled the campus with laughter. The much-anticipated Staff vs Students Volleyball match saw fierce but friendly competition—cheers echoed across the gym as everyone got involved. Free hot chocolates and a Chat and Sip was a cozy highlight, with students gathering over hot chocolates topped with marshmallows, catching up with old friends and welcoming new ones. The Walk for Mental Health brought everyone together outdoors, encouraging us all to take steps, literally and figuratively, towards wellness. The week wrapped up on a high note with a spectacular Performing Arts Concert, where students and staff showcased their talents to a packed audience.

Meanwhile, at our St Catherine campus, students, staff, and families came together for a wonderful series of activities focused on creativity, care, and connection. Arts and crafts sessions centred around self-care and making sensory tools, with students exploring the power of creativity for mental wellbeing. The library photobooth captured plenty of happy moments and silly poses. On R U OK? Day, our Cup of Care event invited parents and siblings to share coffee and treats with staff and students, further strengthening the bonds within our school community. Special thanks go out to the parents who joined staff to decorate cupcakes. Our face-painting student volunteers, trained by a professional, added a splash of colour and fun to R U OK? Day at lunchtime. The ever-popular hot chocolate Chat and Sip brought everyone together for relaxed conversations and new friendships.

Both campuses showed what’s possible when we come together with kindness and enthusiasm. As our community continues to grow, we look forward to more opportunities to connect, support each other, and celebrate all that makes our schools special.

A heartfelt thank you to every student, staff member, parent, and volunteer who made Mental Health Week so memorable!
