The first half of a very busy Term 2 has flown by with many highlights to keep students and staff busy.

The highlight of the term has been the Year 7 Camp. Over three days, our St Catherine students enjoyed a wide variety of adventure and initiative activities. Student highlights were the Giant Swing and the Leap of Faith. Students are to be congratulated for the way they handled the cold weather and the challenge of the many activities they participated in. A great time was had by students and staff.

Term 2 has also seen the students introduced to SACCSS Premier League Sport. The Campus has sent out teams in soccer, basketball, netball and volleyball. The students have enjoyed the experience of playing against other Catholic secondary colleges and we look forward to the second half of the season and, hopefully, some finals action.

With the colder weather arriving, students are expected to be attending school in full winter uniform on the days they do not have sport. This includes wearing the winter long-sleeve shirt, the school tie, the school red jumper and the blazer. Students must be wearing their blazer on arriving and departing from school, even if they are being dropped off and picked up by car or are travelling on a school bus.

Congratulations to the following students who will be representing Kolbe at upcoming sport events. On Monday 25 May, Baraka Wesonga, Chris Akoch and Alisha De Leon will be participating in the VSSC Basketball Competition. On Wednesday 27 May, Ava Sendecky and Mikayla Co will be participating in a Junior Girls AFL Day and the following students will be attending. We wish these students all the best in these competitions.
