The Kolbe Catholic College Parent Community Hub

The Kolbe Catholic College Parent Community Hub is up and running for Term 3 and is part of our Refugee and New Arrival welcoming network. It is a welcoming and inclusive place where parents and carers can connect with other families and their children’s school, participate in activities, link with support services, or just come in, and have a cup of tea or coffee and chat.

The Parent Community Hub has a strong focus on providing programs and services to migrant and refugee families. We do this by providing English language classes, well-being activities, volunteering opportunities, community links and other community programs. We also invite teachers and other staff members from the school to come in and explain school processes such as how to use SEQTA, uniform and behaviour policies and course selection.

These programs give participants the opportunity to learn, participate, share and grow in a supported and friendly environment.

All families of Kolbe Catholic College and staff are welcome to join the Kolbe Catholic College Parent Community Hub every Thursday at 1.30pm in G27.
