Recently, our Unit 4 Outdoor and Environmental Studies students had the incredible opportunity to visit Mount Buffalo National Park. Despite the chilly mornings at Lake Catani campground, we were welcomed by stunning, pristine conditions that set the stage for an unforgettable camp experience.

Students took part in a variety of activities, including hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. Beyond the adventure, the camp also provided valuable hands-on learning opportunities that connect directly to our Unit 4 curriculum. Students explored topics such as the impacts of invasive species and identified observable characteristics of healthy outdoor environments, deepening their understanding of key concepts in a real-world setting.
