Earlier this term, our Kolbe Catholic College community, across both our St Clare of Assisi Campus (Greenvale) and St Catherine of Bologna Campus (Mickleham), came together to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Staff and students enjoyed delicious pancakes and took time to reflect on the traditions that bring us together.
Staff and students were treated to a variety of mouth-watering pikelets, served by our enthusiastic student leaders. The classic toppings of jam and cream, or lemon and sugar, proved to be crowd favourites, as everyone enjoyed a sweet treat during lunch. But Shrove Tuesday is about more than just food. It was a meaningful opportunity for our community to pause and reflect on the traditions that unite us.
As plates were stacked with pikelets, hearts were filled with gratitude. Events like these remind us that even the simplest traditions can have a big impact, strengthening our sense of belonging. As we shared, Kolbe Catholic College once again proved that community spirit is truly at the heart of everything we do.
