Despite grey skies and steady rain, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm at Kolbe Catholic College as players aged 6 to 16 gathered for the Liverpool FC International Academy Australia (LFC IA) Community Day on Saturday 6 December.

Young soccer stars eagerly embraced the opportunity to train ‘The Liverpool Way,’ participating in expertly designed drills and skills sessions led by experienced coaches. From ball control to teamwork, the day was packed with learning, energy, and plenty of smiles as participants improved their technical abilities while making new friends on and off the pitch.

Community spirit was at the heart of the event. The delicious sausage sizzle, generously provided by the Mickleham Raiders Basketball Club, kept everyone fuelled, while Cafe 2 U served up warm coffees and hot chocolates, offering a welcome treat on a chilly day.
