It was such a joy to see history in the making happen at Kolbe Catholic College on Monday the 12^th of September in the Chapel. The Instrumental department presented their first live showcase since its launch in 2020. The showcase displayed performances from solo and ensemble pieces ranging from, Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Piano. It was a great celebration of every student’s progress and showing great resilience to perform in front of an audience after being in lockdown for two years. All students and MCs put on a brilliant performance for us all.

I would like to thank Mr Scully and Mr Calleja for their support in allowing this event to occur at the College Chapel. Also, to thank Tutors Chris Paraha and Heidi Duncan for preparing their students for a show-ready performance. I would like to thank and acknowledge the following for assisting in the set up, they are Chris Paraha, Jason and Kris from IT, Jordan and Property Team and Robyn Herrera for taking photos of all performances.

I hope that this is the beginning of many performances to come in future at Kolbe Catholic College.
