Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,

As we reflect on the journey we’ve shared over the past months, I am continually inspired by the enthusiasm, resilience, and unity that define our college community. The achievements and growth of our students, both inside and outside the classroom, are a demonstration of their hard work and the support they receive from all corners of our community. Whether facing academic challenges, participating in extracurricular activities, or supporting their peers, our students have shown remarkable perseverance and pride. This collective spirit of accomplishment is something we should all feel proud of.

I would also like to express my deep gratitude to our dedicated staff. Their commitment goes far beyond the classroom. They are mentors, advocates, and role models. Often working behind the scenes, our staff members devote countless hours to nurturing our students’ growth, providing guidance and encouragement, and creating the welcoming, vibrant environment that makes our college so special. Their dedication is the foundation of our success.

As we move into Term 2, I hope everyone has had the opportunity to rest, recharge, and reflect on the goals you wish to pursue, whether academic, personal, or social. Setting meaningful goals is the first step toward growth, and I encourage you to embrace the challenges and opportunities which lie ahead. Remember, every step you take toward your goals, no matter how small, contributes to your development and the betterment of our community.

Let us also continue to uphold the values of kindness, respect, and empathy. Looking out for one another, within our school and in the wider community, remains as important as ever. Small acts of kindness can have a deep impact and help create a culture where everyone is appreciated and supported.

Finally, I am thrilled to welcome Mr Shaun Lancashire, who joins us as Deputy Principal. Shaun brings a wealth of experience, a fresh perspective, and a deep commitment to student success. I am confident that you will extend a warm welcome as he becomes an integral part of our college family.
