Dear Members of the Kolbe Catholic College Community
We conclude another successful term in the life of Kolbe Catholic College. I take this opportunity to thank the students and the teachers for all their hard work.
Last week was National Child Protection Week. At Kolbe Catholic College the safety and protection from abuse, or harm, of every Kolbe student is central to the mission and ethos of this school. To ensure this focus is a practical reality, the College has the following systems in place:
In effect, the College abides by the highest contemporary professional and legal standards of child protection.
Recently the Year 7 – 11 students and the staff were invited to vote for the 2026 College Captaincy. Our captains and vice-captains have been elected and the results are as follows:
College Captains in 2026 are James Ladu and Alicia Yousif and the Vice Captains are Grace Tully and Chrysolite Vagai.
I look forward to working with these senior students to strategically improve Kolbe Catholic College in 2026.
Thank you to the unsuccessful candidates for having the courage to put themselves through the rigorous nomination process. They will be very important leaders for Kolbe Catholic College next year.
To conclude, let’s keep our Year 12s in our prayers and they approach the final weeks of their Secondary schooling.
I hope all the students and the staff have a well-earned break and returned refreshed to Term 4 on Monday 6 October.
Mr Nick Scully
Principal
