Dear Members of the Kolbe Catholic College Community

We celebrated the Feast of St Maximilian Kolbe last week. In consultation with our student leaders, the day has evolved from a “day of fun” to a “day of fun with a purpose”. Along with some wonderful talent being displayed at Kolbe’s Got Talent and many other activities, the students donated items to fill backpacks for those less fortunate, especially for those finding themselves homeless.

The spirit of faith, courage and compassion shone brightly on our Feast Day. The attendance and involvement in the activities by our young women and men was outstanding. I always feel very proud to be Principal of Kolbe Catholic College and this was certainly reinforced last week.

To conclude, I hope all the students and the staff have a well-earned break and returned refreshed to Term 4 on Monday October 3^rd.
