Virtual Book Week Celebrations

Book Week 2021 - August 23 to August 27 was celebrated virtually at Kolbe this year. A website was set up for students to access quizzes, dress-up competitions and activities to celebrate the theme 'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds'.

On the Friday afternoon, the Library monitors were treated to an illustration workshop with Illustrator Anna Zobel. Students had a great time learning how to draw different animals and people.

The Library also ran a Writing Competition based on the Book Week theme 'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds'.

The winner judged by the Library staff was Sarahmeianna Puipui- Tonise.
