Minister Suleyman and MP Walters Launch Spirit of Anzac Prize
On August 23, Minister of Veteran Affairs, Youth and Small Business, Natalie Suleyman and Local MP Iwan Walters visited Kolbe School to launch the Spirit of Anzac Prize. The Prize is a great opportunity for students to learn about the Anzac spirit. This year entries are encouraged to explore the Anzac legacy post-World War I and its relevance in our diverse, multicultural twenty-first-century society.
The Minister and MP explained the background of the award and the elements of the competition to the students. They also invited students who were interested in participating to stay afterwards and chat with them about their ideas and seek feedback.
We thank the Minister and MP for taking the time to come and meet with our students. We are grateful for their support of this important prize. Best of luck to those student who entered submissions.
