2022 Work Experience & Year 10 Students

All year 10 students will be required to undertake work experience as part of the Pathways program in 2022. The school has allocated the last week of term 2, June 20 - June 24, 2022 for students to complete this. Students are encouraged to begin contacting employers now. Students can use their work experience placement to trial a future career they may have an interest in or to try and gain a part time job. Prior to commencing work experience, students will need to complete the required paperwork and return it signed by all parties (the employer, student & parents) prior to the placement being authorised. Students were briefed on work experience last week and given a information sheet, if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Williams.

Tax File Numbers

If you don’t have a TFN, you will need to apply for one via the Australian Tax Office - www.ato.gov.au - Tax File numbers are needed when you begin work, to open a bank account & to enrol in further studies after year 12. It is good practice for students to apply for one, once they turn 15 years old.
