On 1 April, Years 9 and 10 Arabic students enjoyed a vibrant and engaging cultural incursion with the Ashur Folklore Ensemble. All 43 students enthusiastically participated in a dynamic dance workshop, where they were introduced to traditional Assyrian dances, music, and costumes. The presenters shared valuable background information, helping students gain a deeper understanding of this rich cultural heritage as part of their learning about the Middle East.

Students had a fantastic time learning new movements, working together, and dancing to lively music, creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere. The experience not only built their cultural awareness but also encouraged confidence and teamwork. It was a joyful and memorable way to celebrate their learning and finish off a very successful term.
