Kolbe Mask Making Project
Dear Parents/Caregivers, Staff and Students
Kolbe Catholic College, Greenvale Lakes is a vibrant school community that looks to our patron, St Maximilian Kolbe, who emulated service to others throughout his life. During 2020, we have been faced with many new challenges and these challenges have also brought new opportunities to help each other.
In light of the recent State Government directive that all people are required to wear masks whilst outside, we are launching the Kolbe Mask Making Project.
We are inviting all members of our community, students, parents and staff to be involved in this project. Our aim is to make as many masks as we can so that they can be donated to people in our school community and to the wider local community, especially those who are providing an essential service as well as for our sick and elderly community members.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Dane Calleja, Deputy Principal, Mrs Robyn Herrera, Marketing Manager or Ms Caithleen Malone, Director of Faith and Community at the College on 03 8339 3060.
By working together to help provide face masks to others, we can promote the health and safety of our community.
