Please find below key information and an overview of the events that will occur for students and families as part of the celebrations scheduled for October 2022.

Memorabilia Signing (Monday 10 October 2022 – Wednesday 12 October 2022)

Students interested in participating in the Memorabilia Signing are asked to deliver a laundered labelled piece of uniform to the College in a sealed snap lock bag by Friday 7 October 2022. Students are to deliver their snap lock bag to the storage location allocated within Building J as per the instructions provided by Miss Samantha Mizzi (Director of Students: Senior Years.). Due to the current health regulations in place, students who do not submit uniform pieces in the stipulated format will unfortunately not be able to participate. Uniform pieces used will be unable to be worn as part of uniform in the future.

Year 12 Final Assembly (Friday 14 October 2022)

The Year 12 Final Assembly will provide the opportunity for the College community to gather together to celebrate the journey of our Year 12 students.

Year 12 students will be required to wear their full College Winter Uniform for this event, inclusive of their blazer.

The event will be for current students and members of College staff only however it will be live streamed for families, friends and significant individuals that want to watch from home/offsite. Families are able to stream the event via the online access link provided closer to the event.

Families of students receiving awards and/or participating in the event will be notified separately.

Year 12 Graduation Mass, Graduation Ceremony and Graduation Supper (Friday 14 October 2022)

The Year 12 Graduation Mass, Graduation Ceremony and Graduation Supper will be held from 6.00pm – 9.00pm on Friday 14 October 2022.

Year 12 students will be required to be in attendance in full College Winter Uniform inclusive of their blazer. The College will provide students with a formal graduation gown to wear for the event. Students will have their formal graduation portrait captured on this evening.

Students will be required to be present at the College at 5.30pm for their gown fitting, photography and seating registration. Students will be required to register their gown size via the following link by 5.00pm on Monday 12 September 2022: https://www.trybooking.com/CBZGY

Students have the opportunity to attend this event with three guests/family members. Guests will be required to register their attendance online via the following link by 5.00pm on Monday 12 September 2022: https://www.trybooking.com/CBZGY

A supper complemented by tea, coffee and soft drink will be available for all guests following the Mass and Graduation Ceremony.

Guests attending the event will be able to park in the College carparks accessible via Gates One and Four as well as on Lysterfield Drive.

Year 12 Costume Parade and Breakfast (Monday 17 October 2022)

All Year 12 students will have the opportunity to participate in the Year 12 Costume Parade and Breakfast on Monday 17 October 2022. This event is for current Year 12 students only.

All costumes worn as part of the Year 12 Costume Parade will be required to go through a formal approval process prior to their inclusion in the parade. Students are required to register details of their costumes using the online form provided. In selecting costumes, students are to be mindful of the College Mission and Vision. No weapons, offensive material/slogans or face coverings (apart from the COVID-19 face masks) are to be incorporated into costumes. Students in breach of these guidelines will unfortunately not be able to participate in the parade.

On the morning of this event all Year 12 students are to be present in the allocated marshalling zone on the College Oval between 8.00am and 8.15am. Entry for Year 12 students will be via Gate One.

All students will be required to depart the College at the conclusion of the event at 10.15am, exiting the College via Gate One.

Year 12 Valedictory Dinner (Monday 17 October 2022)

The College will host a Year 12 Valedictory Dinner on Monday 17 October 2022 at Manor on High, Epping.

This event will cost $90.00 per guest including a three course meal and beer, wine and soft drink.

Year 12 families will be able to purchase up to three tickets (including the student) for this event. Tickets can be purchased online prior to 5.00pm on Monday 12 September 2022 via the following link: https://www.trybooking.com/CCAYJ

On Wednesday 14 September 2022, students who have submitted and paid for tickets for the Valedictory Dinner will be able to select their tables. Families and students are asked to discuss who they would like to be seated with prior to this as once tables have been confirmed there will be no changes.

The dress code for this event is formal attire.

Year 12 2022 Graduation Events Website

The College has created a Graduation Events Webpage that contains information for students and families regarding the various Graduation Events in operation. This will be accessible via the Kolbe Catholic College Website under ‘News and Events’ from next week. Students and families are encouraged to access the site, sharing the links and event schedule for all streamed celebrations with any significant individuals, extended family etc.

Live Streamed Events

All family members and significant individuals not in attendance are encouraged to join the College online via the live stream links provided for certain events. To participate, individuals will require a device with internet, web streaming capacity and sound. Families requiring assistance with the set-up of this are welcome to make contact with the College IT Department prior to Friday 14 October 2022.

Health and Safety

All events will operate in accordance with the State Government and CECV COVID Safe Protocols in place at the time of operation. This may include the wearing of face masks, the practicing of safe hand hygiene etc. Students and parents/caregivers are to follow the signage and directions provided at events for this.
